Activities for Intellectual Disability Society

  1. Seminars at schools for children with disabilities are regularly organized for teachers and families.
  2. Parent support group
    We organize a meeting with parents at a school for children with disabilities. Genetic counseling and other needs related to children and parent’s problems can be provided at the School or CEBIOR. Some specific tests for establishing the diagnosis can be offered for free of charge, when the funding can be obtained.
  3. Working group on Mental Retardation and Autism: in collaboration with Prof. Ben CJ Hamel, MD, PhD from RUNMC Netherlands, Prof Randi Hagerman (MIND Institute UC Davis USA), Members of the working group are: Prof dr. Sultana MH Faradz, PhD; Dr. dr. Tri Indah Winarni, M.Si.Med., PA; dr. Agustini Utari, Sp.A(K), M.Si.Med; dr. Tanjung Ayu Sumekar, M.Si.Med.
